What is the Aseem ERP Assistant?
It is a chat assistant, built by Aseem Software, that sits in the corner of your ERPNext screens. Your team types a question in plain language and gets the answer from your own live ERPNext data, as a table they can download to Excel.
Can the assistant change or delete our data?
No. It can only read. Every query runs in a read-only database transaction, sensitive tables such as passwords and payroll can be blocked, and every question is logged together with the exact query that ran.
Is our business data sent to the AI provider?
Only the question and the names of the relevant tables and columns are sent, so the AI can write the query. The query itself runs on your own server and the results stay there.
Which AI providers can it use?
It works with OpenAI, Azure OpenAI or a compatible private model, so you can pick the provider that fits your data policy.
Which languages does it understand?
English and Indian languages. The sample screenshot on this page shows a follow-up question answered in Hindi.
Who in our company can use it?
You decide. By default only administrators see the chat bubble, and you can switch it on for other roles, such as owners, sales heads or accounts managers. It can also be renamed and coloured to match your brand.
