Frequently asked questions
What kind of documents can AI read into ERPNext?
Supplier invoices, purchase orders, delivery notes and similar business documents. For a used-vehicle marketplace we work with, AI OCR extracts invoice line items and allocates them against open purchase order lines, with a review step before receipt is confirmed.
Is our data safe when using AI?
We design every AI feature around your data policy. We send only the data a task needs, keep the results and audit trail in your ERPNext, and can use the AI provider of your choice.
Can the Aseem ERP Assistant change or delete our data?
No. It can only read. Every query runs in a read-only database transaction, sensitive tables such as passwords and payroll can be blocked, and every question is logged with the exact query that ran.
Is our business data sent to the AI provider?
Only the question and the names of the relevant tables and columns are sent, so the AI can write the query. The query runs on your own server and the results stay there. You can also use Azure OpenAI or another provider of your choice.
Who in our company can use the assistant?
You decide. By default only administrators see the chat bubble, and you can switch it on for other roles, for example sales or accounts managers. It can be renamed and coloured to match your brand.
Does AI replace our team's approvals?
No. AI suggests and pre-fills; people review and approve. Confidence scores and review screens make it clear what needs a human decision.
